SOME BENIFIT REGARDLESS OF AN ECONOMIC DOWNTURN?

I am currently working on a final, year-end future of the American Republic synopses, but today I was intrigued by a very interesting article in The Washington Post. I evaluate Judge Andrew Napolitano on Freedom Watch, nightly on the Fox News Business Channel. I implore you to check out his Plain Truth you tube channel. The Judge opens each and every show with “Does the government work for us or do we work for the government?” I think you can see the tone of the show by his nightly introduction.

I want to impress upon you those words, “Does the government work for us or do we work for the government?” This column in the Washington Post was so enlightening as to the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer over the past twenty-five years. Oh, by the way, the article points out the “Middle Class” worker bees have only lost a little. We, the working class have not lost……so much! The mind-blowing revelation was the gain in wealth of our political elite. Look at this chart:

Yes, the little gray area at the bottom of the graph is us and the beige area is our political servants. To read the entire article follow the link, but the article is quite lengthy and I know my readership want to cut to the less time-consuming chase. Here is a chart and graph showing certain members of Congress, namely members of “The Peoples House” the House of Representatives had a median net worth of $280,000 in 1984, while American family’s median net worth was $20,648. As the article shows, the members of The House of Representatives net worth increased to $725,056 by 2009 while American family median net worth over the same twenty-five years dropped to $20,500.

Immediately you see that only wealthy Americans are in the political arena. I think this graph should give us the initiative to search our political candidate’s history of wealth gain. I think you will find most politicians have gained there wealth through the exploitation of the American People or corrupt, politically excused practices. No other time in America’s history could each and every man, women and child access this information. Computer-less people have schools and public libraries. Everyone else, the information is at your warm, cozy at home fingertips.

Maybe this politicians dream come true is why most Congressional servants are spending their holidays in exotic places while “The Worker Bees” spend their holidays at home. Maybe its time we sent this abusive political class packing.
